My funds got unfroze as well for EQIP contract/ IRA funds
My “wild guess” on CRP…. Trump is a deal maker & there’s a lot of political support for it. My guess is- it gets reduced or reformed. I’d be surprised if the program went away.

Thanks Skip. I truly hope it's all a show and I hope all things work out for our farmers most of all. I'm all for the vast majority of the policies but what turned me off is his alienation of our closest allies and supporting Putin. His lies and bully attitude are hurting us and not a good example of the "leader of the free world". I am all for deal making with other countries, but in a civil manner! Trump is in no way a Christian as far as I'm concerned, God bless us all.

I’m glad you are a Republican. A true Republican would support the party ? I didn’t like Romney all that much, but voted for him … the alternative was Obama ! I didn’t bash Romney online and try to influence voters to not vote for him !
This alternative was worse in 2024 (Harris). My opinion, just an opinion, your anti-Trump posts do not sound Republican at all ? But I guess I’m wrong .

God uses flawed people!!! We are all flawed for that matter. I don’t know the man’s heart & soul but I do believe he’s sincere in the way he said God spared him when that bullet missed him in that MIRACLE. Gods plan in my belief.
All men are flawed…. I gotta say, the folks who claimed to be the most religious were complete disappointments & our nation became a worse place for what they did …. Both the BUSH presidents. Romney (Mormon). McCain, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, OBAMA, etc etc. All claim they are Christian (& I’m not judging their beliefs or that they are perfect) but really hurt our country in so many ways it’s insane….. corruption, wars, ABORTION, weakness, sell outs, allowing deep state & bureaucrats to overwhelm & control country. All people who grew the ESTABLISHMENT that most of America knows is a cancer they want gone. With those same stooges in charge- no doubt in my mind we’d wind up like ROME or any other fallen empire. We still may, who knows.
God & politics is a very tricky combination. Just like extreme wealth or power. Nothing I can prove or make a statement on but I feel God’s plan was the Trump win & I do believe Trump is being used for good things.

Trump doesn’t support Ukraine or Russia. Both leaders are lying scum bags. Trump just threatened sanctions on Russia if they don’t come to the table.
It takes time to unf**k four years of complete Biden corruption and incompetence. Talk about lying. Jesus. Biden and his family profited from Ukraine with Hunters shell companies. You forget that!

I'm not Skip but Trump gives embellishment on many things and outright lies on the rest. If one takes the time to research Trump's "facts" on money/value of equipment spent on Ukraine, He's over double the actual amount, His stating Zelensky is a dictator and not agreeing Putin is, he has since denied saying it
., stating Ukraine started the war, just to give a couple examples.Biden lied and I hated it then and I hate it that Trumps lies. It amazes me how people are so quick to buy the lies as long as it supports their viewpoint. Wrong is wrong, right is right. The left did that with Biden and now it seems the right is doing that with Trump.
Trump seems to be at war with everyone but Putin and Kim. I'm surprised he put tariffs on China. His trade war tariffs are nothing but bad for the countries involved but I fear also the rest of the world. I don't see how there won't be a domino effect around the world.
The first president I could vote for was Reagan and none have measured even close since him. I voted for Trump the first 2 times but for Ron Burgundy this past election. At least Burgundy was a fictitious buffoon.

What’s Trump lying about. Another I don’t like Trump post. Who is Trump at war with? He’s trying to stop wars. What did the last administration do to end the Israeli or Ukraine wars.
Do you understand tariffs?? Why should our imports be taxed and other countries imports not?? The unbalanced tariff rates occurred after WWII to enable war torn countries to get back on their feet. That was 80 years ago. The playing field has changed and nations are ok to pay equal tax.
I too am old enough to remember Reagan. He was great. But the Dumocrats were not so far in the woke tank and easier to work with. Trump has a much harder job and is better than Reagan imo. Reagan was also a learned politician who placated the system.
The war Trump is fighting is with the corrupt DC establishment , involving both parties, who have become wealthy off the tax payer. The bulk of America supports it.

Starting trade wars and strong arming an ally into capitulation is a fine look for this administration. The only reason he is trying to get the war stopped is so he can make a deal with putin on rare earth metals and aluminum. He does have a fine Prime minister Chamberlain impersonation going.

That data is a little dated, but on the other hand, it was before Trump was president and anyone talked about tariffs. New Zealand and Australia were the only 2 countries on that list lower than the US. As far as Mexico and Canada 25% tariff, that's not a trade tactic. It's a motivation to have them contribute more to the job of securing the borders between our two countries to help with illegal immigration/drug trafficking.
As far as DOGE, I'd rather they error on the side of cutting too much than not enough. If it's really needed, you will hear about it, and it can be turned back on as easily as it was cut out. From the billions they've cut so far, I'd say there has been very little backlash on truly needed parts that need to be reversed. We are over 30 trillion dollars in debt and the yearly deficit before DOGE was 1.6 trillion. There's a lot of govt spend being cut people argue that we need, but do we really? We can't afford it. Unfortunately, most Americans can't afford the cars/houses they are buying, so they think the govt should be the same way. We can't afford it, but we "need" it. No, they want it and it's perfectly fine to use debt to get it.
As far as Ukraine war, it needs to end, or at least the US needs to stop being the main cash supply for Ukraine. Per the NATO agreement, NATO countries are required to spend 2% of GDP on defense funding, though very few European countries do that. The Ukraine war is a lot closer to Europe than the US, but they aren't spending near what the US is on the war.
