Taken Tuesday evening. Does and fawns were all over the place. We followed 4 fawns down the road before they decided to run off.

MITCHELLVILLE - we have a marble business over there. nice new Tap in town eh? Ragbri was nuts huh? Nice to see a local guy on here. Nice pics! You hunt locally?

I suppose I better change my address. I haven't lived in Mitchellville in 4 years. When there I worked in Altoona and hunted north of Van Meter.

I am now in S.E. Iowa (Douds)

Kat,

It looks like it was taken with a Nikon D50 with Tamron 300 2.8

(I don't know crap about photography but I think that is what Jack uses.)

If you check out Jacks home page, he has a ton of beautiful photos taken with his Nikon (the photobucket album is awesome!). The camera is only part of the picture...it also takes an eye for the shot. Great photos Jack!

Ah, the user name threw me off. I'm used to Jakapr. He takes some wonderful photos for sure.

I've been hearing a lot about the D50 lately. Seems to be a great camera.

Excellent photo.

I got to handle a D50 that a friend owns. I'm buying my wife one for her birthday. Maybe, just maybe, she will let me use it.

Yes Ghost,
I was using my D50 with the tamron 300 2.8.
I just got back from Ottumwa, It was getting dark, to dark for pictures but I took the gravel back. Boy the big ones are out right at dark. One field across where I hunt had 4 very good size bucks in it and when I got closer to town, one field had 6 good size bucks in it. I am calling a medium size p&y a good size buck.

and if you are wondering where Jakapr came from just say it outloud. Jack Capper
