Field Set up or in the Woods?

I having been bowhunting for the past few years out of my blind and have always set up predominately on field edges. What set up do most of you bowhunters use? I know there is better shooting in the open but it seems the birds may be more prone to work right up to the blind in cover. This may be even more true in the afternoons when the heat builds up like it has here lately.

I don't know how many times I've set up on a roosted bird in the timber...only to have them fly right over me into open fields. They like to be in open areas where they can be seen, so I have better luck in a fencerow or field edge. Every situation and tom is different of course and I have killed a few in the timber. If your using decoys...they can sure see them a lot farther if they are out in a field or an open area.
