Found This Figured I'd Share

I believe that Republicans controlled both houses 6 of 8 years and the internet had a little bit to do with the economy. Something Clinton did sign was NAFTA and GATT.
I really don't care what he signed times were good people were making money and spending money. Unless you have a job where there is no threat to a layoff you think about these things. My world revolves around my phone ringing from people who want to spend money not because they have too spend money.

Come on guys....speculators drive the oil market, grain market, hog market etc......If a handful of us would say, "I think Hoyt bows are worth $1500", what do you think Hoyt is going to do to their price. A poor example, but I think I made my point. When I was younger and bought oddles of baseball cards, and get a Bo Jackson rookie card, I would show my mom and say "look ma, I got this card and Beckett says its worth 50 bucks." Then she would shoot me down and say its only worth what someone will pay for it. So have we even seen the point where Americans will draw the line for oil. I don't think so.

Wow that makes almost no sense if americans were fine with the price of gas THAN WHY THE HELL IS EVERY AMERICAN COMPLAINING ABOUT IT? and the u.s. government is buying the gas way cheaper than what there selling it to distributors for.

When I read my post I could see where one would think I stated that Americans are fine with oil prices. No, wait a minute, I don't see it.

I am not doubting the 90s being the financial decade of a lifetime but just doubting that Clinton had very little to do with it. I believe Clinton just so happened to be in office when the greatest economic cycle we will ever see took place. Interest rates were coming down with Greenspan calling the shots creating a series of soft landings, the internet, technology and the computer peaking and the country was fully employed. People were confident to the point of being cocky. Now we have the flip side....Obama just so happens to be in office during the worst cycle we will ever see. High unemployment, the Fed is out of bullets to stimulate the economy and the country is bankrupt with few jobs to throw off revenue(NAFTA and GATT partly to blame). People have no confidence to the point of being scared. Your phone is not ringing. The difference between Clinton and Obama is that Clinton just sat back and said look what I have done when 6 of 8 years Republicans controlled both houses and the cycle was in his favor. Obama on the other hand HAD to do something and he could do whatever he wanted the first two years as the Democrats were in full power. So as with any good liberal, he is creating the need for government with entitlements(Obamacare the most destructive) therefore creating uncertainty with employers that are putting off hiring. Obama's only real game plan is to steal from the rich which will probably take place because of fear and he has done such a great job creating the need for government. JMO

communism:a)stage of socialism to be charactorized by a classless and stateless society and equal distribution of economic goods b)form of government professing to be working towards this stage by means of state planning and control of the economy with an emphasis on it's own requirement rather than individuals' liberties. Obama and Dems in general want to control everything from your money to your guns. By taking more and more of our paychecks and redispursing it in the form of welfare, foodstamps etc. they are taking more and more control of the economy which in my book is a form of communism. JMO

i usually avoid political discussions because in most cases, nobody is ever gonna change anybody else's mind therefore they are pointless...but this statement is right on the money. for the most part, democrats are turning more and more into socialists.
