Here is the storie. I got outta school and got a call from a friend asking if i wanted to go yote hunting with him. I told him i would call him back after i called my dad. I called my dad and asked if the deer were moving out at the pit. He said he hasnt seen any movement but a storm was moving in so they should be moving. I said ok ill be out in half an hour. Called my buddy back and told him i would go tomorrow and in glad i did.I went and got my gun from my dads truck cause we cant have guns in our trucks at school.

Well i got into the stand at around 4:15. And spooked up 6 does walking in. Wasnt a good sign but atleast they were moving. I got up in the stand and waited. At around 4:50 i saw a doe run across the river bottom and got my gun ready. Out came a small 6 point that was pushing the doe. They ran across the river and headed into the thick stuff. I was sitting their and i heard a something coming. I looked over and a doe jumped into the timber and this boy was right behind her. I got my gun up and had him right in the scope. He wasnt broad side and i knew if he went into the dry river i would be able to get a shot on him. So i pulled the trigger and CLICK no shell. He looked right at me and i thought he was gone. Well the doe distracted him once again and i quickly put a shell in. He looked at me once more and that was his last. I got about a 35 yard shot i shot him almost in the chest and right when i hit him he didnt really know what to do. He jerked back and started to tumble. He ran down the little berm and ran about 75 yards and dropped. I watched him the whole time and i was excited when i saw him go down. I have hunted him very hard the past few days. I had video tape of him and i was kicking myself like i said and i knew if i saw him again i would take him. But im glad it payed off. Now i getta go coyote hunting
