Not worrying about the deer seeing it, the red light is great to use in the dark because it doesn't effect your night vision like a bright light does.

But after I figured what I had spent on head lamps and flashlights during my hunting career it was cheaper to buy something that will last me the rest of my life as opposed to getting something new every 2 or three years. I have little patience for things that don't get the job done. </div></div>

Just ribbing you Limb. I think we have a similar spending concept. I always say buy the best, because if you don't you will always wish you had and more then likely will eventually upgrade anyway. Which of course, will cost you double in the end.

I would like to see the light in person. For 194$ it must be something pretty damn special.
