Land of the Whitetail
Its giving me flashbacks to 2018. That year was really bad in this area on the trails. Its not near as bad now at least. The same with the Carlisle to Indianola trail.

I'd say 6-8 places where I could smell death. No idea if they were deer, only guessing. In 2018, I would see deer nightly until I started smelling them, then none. Nasty stuff! Its giving me flashbacks to 2018. That year was really bad in this area on the trails. Its not near as bad now at least.
Northwest MO has it too. Not sure how bad but bad enough.I think it was Putnam?
That more aligns with CWD than EHD if you read up on the symptoms of each. It made it to Lucas County last year, so right in the neighborhood
Just like all the suddenly skinny celebrities he’s not on Ozempic!
That definitely crossed my mind. I had pics of him 3 days apart moving normally? No deer in the ponds. All other deer looked normal...I guess they die of all sorts of reasons(best case). My son killed a EHD survivor buck a few years back that was very thin like this but he went through hell getting there. Usually a blank stare with drool coming from their mouth.
