Nice article in the Iowa Sportsman. Is the Iowa Sportsman considered a peer reviewed journal and if so will it count toward your tenure track?

Thanks, I think. Honestly I wouldn't mind some opinions, probably no worse than how badly I critique myself.

There are plans for a few more fish related articles in the future.
 
It read pretty good, but you might have included a diagram or two on where the lateral line was and what the differnt mouth structures were. It was kinda technical but it still worked for me, better if there had been diagrams.

And I would like to see an artlicle on how to tell the difference between carps.

Any auhtor worth his salt can always blame his editor if the article sucked.

im sure it would take a whole article to scratch the surface of what a lateral line is or how the fish use it.

Muddy, my wife loved your article about turkey shot placement. I think she's going to carry that issue to the blind with her! She's going to try getting her bird with the bow again (After botching several chances last year!)and I couldn't be prouder. Seriously, I showed her the article and and she really found it helpful. It didn't really impress her when I said I knew who you were through this site though!
