Iowa phantom?

The Wensel brothers have a bronze antler for sale on their web site that looks very similar. Look at side view on ebay and enlarge the pictures on Wensels web site and they look very similar. They also note on the bronze that a major tine was missing. Looks like it to me.

I have held the original set of these sheds and they are unbeleivable! Grinners for sure!

I have a mount of this buck in my Wild Whitetails display trailer. Its also one of my favorites.

I asked the now owner of these sheds about them, needed some info for the display. There were several major points missing from the biggest set, in fact there are over 70 inches of repair and replaced points on this set. They looked at what the sheds were like the year before and "guessed" at what it should look like the following year.

Its easy to make most any rack look big when you can "guess" at what was or wasnt grown.

The Minnesota Monarch gave us 3 sets of sheds. In all three you couldn't recognize him from any other year because he changed each year. He carried very few similiar characteristics from one year to another.

The Iowa Phantom looks good but I'm real hesitant to tell anyone that this look is accurate at all.

edited to add this picture.

Do any of you know what county this buck called home?

Renobber...

Those are the way the sheds were found that Ghost is holding.

I think he may have been referring to a different kind of "rebuild".

Believe it or not, my mind actually wasn't on a nice custom built "RACK"!

Look at the difference in the sheds I'm holding and the replica antlers on the head mount dc240nt posted.

Lots of creative antler repairs.
