It finally happened

My wife went to fill up the Suburban and we finally broke the $100 barrier. 48 gallon tank = $118 at the pump.

At this rate my hunting fund might become my gas fund.

By the way, the pumps at the Caseys shut off at $100.

You want pricey...........tht much gas would set me back around $210 here............and our gas and oil comes from Canada.

Caseys pumps in the Des Moines area shut off at $50. Very frustrating lately as my truck holds much more than that.

Don't fill up at Caseys because I have a dsl pickemup, but I notice the place that I do stop at just changed their pumps so they will go over a hundred. I didn't like it when it cost a hundred to fill up and it didn't like it any better when I had to stop and run the CC again to finish filling!

At least when I get back inside the pain eases a bit...why? Cause it's a Ford which means I'm riding in style! (sorry Limb...I couldn't resist

I talked to a guy that has been doing a lot of driving for his job so he has really been experimenting with different gas stations. He says Caseys had the worst gas and Kwik Star was second. I believe BP was the best. It was pretty significant too. Pretty interesting I thought.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know, that I work for Casey's at the Corperate Headquarters in Ankeny. There is no reason those pumps should be shutting off after $100.

I don't let my tank go below half full. The pump shock is easier. Doesn't change how much gas I use, just easier for me to pay thirty some bucks twice than 60 some bucks once.

I too once owned a Suburban with the big tank. Kinda glad its gone, not that my pickup gets any better mileage, just less pump shock.

Saw a guy once who did that and had a pull-behind corn cob cooker that powered the vehicle.

Ya know gas prices are getting high when my wife yells at me for "wasting gas" by mowing the lawn.

Maybe I should buy her a goat.

We drove my truck to South Dakota and back and averaged $55 to $60 everytime we filled. It hurt to fill it knowing a bunch of FAT RICH PRICK"S are just getting that much richer. The GREED in America, the greatest country in the world is going to bring us all to our knee's.The working class will alway's carry the burden's of it all. AKA (YOU AND ME) and our men and women over there in battle. Just my opinion

I work at caseys and the pumps shut off at one hundred. I am glad that My jeep tops out at $55, FOR NOW.

I agree Buckhunter. Does anybody know what the gas prices are suppose to top out at this summer?
