Knight Disc extreme vs Knight Revolution

After a couple nights of fighting my old Knight MK-85 I have decided to put her to sleep. I have ruled out the Encore based on their price and they are also not waterproof. The Disc and the Revolution are both waterPROOF and seem easy to clean. What is everyones take on these two guns? Also, if anyone is interested in a very dependable and accurate stainless steel inline Knight, let me know or keep your eyes peeled in the Classifieds.

I just traded for a knight extreme stainless with a laminated stock and a silver nikon scope. So ill go with the extreme even though I have no idea which is better.

Im guessing there both good gun from what ive heard.
 
I bought the super 45 disc extreme, black synthetic fluted stainless steel barrel. It's a good shooting gun out to 200 yards and I know where you can get one for only 230 bucks brand new....both guns are nice, this gun is just more than half off

You can't go wrong with either one Muddy. Even though new powder's are les corrosive I think stainless is still a better option if you have a choice. A friend bought a Revolution and he's shootin darts at 100 yards with Hornady XTP's.
 
I've never considered a .45 cal to be honest. Great on deer but IF I decided to go after something bigger I'm not sure it'd have the knockdown I'm looking for? How do 45's work for elk and bear? Granted, I'd be more apt to take my bow than a muzzleloader out west. for under $250 that's a great deal, send me a PM if you get a chance Mike, I might be interested.
 
Also, Knight has a $50 mail in rebate on Revolutions right now, puts them down around $350 for a black synthetic stock and stainless barrel. Extremes are right around the same price.
 
defenitely the thumb hole and I would get the extreme, but being 6'6' with long arms, the rev. just seems to short to shoot comfortablely but knowing you, you with make the correct choice

I personally went to the Savage smokless.....It shoots awesome, and no mess to clean up period. Perfectly legal in the state of Iowa.
 
I opted for the Savage as well. Got tired of the fouling of the bore and cleaning the mess that "black powder substitute" created. You can still shoot the substitutes if you want or are required to by state laws. Savage has great customer service as well. Maybe a little more money initially, but well worth it over the lifetime of the gun.

I also have the Savage ML2, one of the best purchases I have made. At the range when other guys were there and shooting pyradex and black powder they spent more time on cleaning their gun than shooting it. I just would shoot, wait a bit for the barrel to cool down then shoot again and again and then patch up and go home. Good luck with whatever you decide.
 
i know of a knight disc elite, stainless steel barrel, and black stock, you could get for $300
 
I paid around 450.00 for mine.....And since its still classified as a muzzleloader you can still by it through the mail with no FFL....From gun broker.com

I ordered mine through The Ammo Bearer in Iowa City.

The price depends on whether blued vs stainless and then you have stock choices. There is a black synthetic stock, a camo synthetic stock and a wood laminate. I bought a camo sythetic stocked blued barrel. If I had to do it all over again, I would go with the stainless barrel, laminate stock. As I mentioned earlier, really not that much more money over the lifetime of the gun.
 
I have the black synthetic stock with the stainless steel barrel. On top of mine I have a Simmons Atec. Great combo.

I realize this is about knights, and you ruled out the Encore for the price. But don't forget the Omega, Simple to clean, 28" very accurate barrel, and sealed breach to keep the weather out. Just my two cents, had one for 3 years now, no failures, breeze to clean and DEADLY accurate. Not trying to start a knight bashing (disc's just one more thing to forget).

I'm with BrokenArrow. I just got my Omega a couple of months ago for about the same price as the Knights, except mine has the camo composite stock and the rest of the gun is camo as well. Give Gunrunner a call, he hooked me up!
