It is well worth the listen!
I firmly believe he saved crossbows from being in Iowa from the language/questions in the previous resident hunter survey. He mentioned it in the podcast but it was something along the lines of 95% of hunters were satisfied with current weapon choices. Having hard data to oppose those special interest groups (crossbows specifically) is vitally important.
We are blessed to have him as our state deer biologist.
