If you don't listen to Bob and Tom in the morning you won't get that joke, but really, Farm King, Farm & Fleet,etc... carry decent two man boats. One of my buddies was the only guy able to get down the river when it was low in his two man. He was catching the big ones when everyone else was docked.

. I will be using it just to do some pond fishing. I want to stay with the plastic style.

I have a 20' Aluminum bass boat with a 115 h.p. Mercury outboard on it that I am selling this spring. It’s a very reliable boat. Two guys can fish out of it comfortably. Let me know if you want more specifics on it.

Mark, Pelican makes a boat just like your describing. I have one on the pond and it works great.

The Coleman Crawdad is pretty cool. Here is a link. I used one of these during bow season a few years ago to scoot back and forth over a river to some nearly impossible to access public ground. Now I've got an 8' aluminum job that is even better suited.

Anyhow, here is a link. They're very light and pretty stable.

No Donnie Baker reference is complete without a reference to a pork sword.

Had a buddy of mine who had a little two man bass boat that was made of fiberglass or plastic. It was pretty light and one person could drag it and two could easlily carry. Used an electric trolling motor. It was probably only like 7 foot long and 3 foot wide. It was called the bass hunter. I would look it up. I think he sold his.

Check out the "Bass Baby" made by Schafer Systems Inc. in Adair, IA. Rotationally molded, one piece design. Rock solid and it has molded in wheels to make it easier to get to water. Check their website out http://www.connectadock.com/boat/bassBaby.asp. I probably didn't paste the link correctly but go to www.connectadock.com and look for the "Bass Baby". Great company - I live in Adair and know several people involved with the company. I even got to help with the balsa wood pattern for the mold over a winter break from college. Any questions PM me as I have one of the originals!
