Sweet deer. Its nice in Illinois how the DNR lets you keep monster road kill.
 
A guy would think that if someone hit a deer like that, and killed it, it would do a lot of damage to the vehicle. The person who hit it wouldn't just drive off. They would call the sheriffs dept. and even if that person didn't want the deer, the sherriffs office would be aware that it's there in the ditch. Hate to question people, but sounds fishy to me. Makes me wonder how someone could just find a deer like that lying dead in the ditch. I know off a couple different situations where a deer was poached and people said they found it dead or hit by a car. A high school kid from the school that I teach at just got busted for this 3 weeks ago.

If I read it right it said 207 2/8.I would have choked too.That is one massive spread of bone.
