Thanks guys. It's my first one for the wall. Not a monster, but special none the less. My 10 year old was right behind me holding my gloves when I shot him. Our picture on the site will be framed soon to hang right next to him on the wall. Fun stuff. I hate it when it's not fall.
Since we are onm the topic of taxidermy, could I get some input as to how long one should wait to get their deer mont back? The reason I ask is that I have not had one mounted and a friend of mine shot a 180 inch buck during the 2004 shotgun season. He has still not gotten the deer back. He seems not worried at all. Should he be?
Great lookinh mount. I'm expecting a call anyday. I saw it a couple weeks ago before the drying and touch up process, it looked good. Huge Neck!!! I'm pumped.

Most have a turn-around that is six months or less. If it was my 180 inches, I'd of been calling once a week after the sixth month. I'd be a little concerned if I were him.
My guy was pretty fast. Some guys I know didn't get theirs back until the following summer. Regarding the 180 buck from 2004, yes, I would be sweating that one. Not saying anything happened, but like it was said, I'd be calling.
I had a freind with a 8-pt,164 score that the taxidenist had for 2 years it took the police to get it back.If I where you I would be at his place demanding your rack back he could call you when he's ready for it back to mount.
