That's my nightmare....where did you find him? I checked 5 ponds Saturday with no floaters.

Saw a bunch of vultures down by the creek the other night and my heart sank thinking it was going to be one of my big bucks. So, I walked down there and it was just a young doe who had died in the middle of the creek. I am assuming from EHD. So I walked the creek for as long as I had permission for and didnt find any other dead ones but did jump one of the bucks on my hitlist about 150 yards from a stand location. Hope I dont lose anymore to EHD but atleast I got to see a hitlist buck so close to my stand.

I think I'll walk it again, saw 6 buzzards on our fence line right by my stand (which is 20 yards from a creek) and my heart sank too. I went to see if I could find anything but didn't.

Dang. That's a damn shame. This outbreak is really getting me worked up.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but does anyone know if the DNR or anyone else has released a map showing where most of the outbreaks are occurring?

I think we are going to find a lot of dead bucks from this. I do have a question do we need to get salvage tag for any bucks like this we find?
