My Blazer upgraded

I am pretty happy with my 1977 Chevy Blazer and how it has turned out so far. Last week I and some buddies in IA put a 4" lift and some 35" tires on it. I removed the doors and the top and left them behind in IA at our other home for now. I removed all of the carpeting and did a herculiner truck bed rubber coated bed liner over the entire interior. We trailered it out to CO Thursday. I expected a rough ride but it rides better than it ever has and is our new mountain toy. I bought 3 seatbelts at a salvage yd before I left and my boy and I installed them in the rear for the bench seat yesterday. Now I need a roll bar and a winch. So far I have about $3500 in it. I will store it in the winter and I plan on never putting the top or doors back on it. It is cool as hell to drive this around town and up on the mountain trails and roads. I had considered selling it and not bringing it to CO but that would have been a mistake. Everybody has mountain toys here. I thought that I may have to have it rejetted for the altitude or timing advanced but I have had it up to 10,000 ft and it still runs well. Most of my driving around here is 7000-9000 ft. It has a 350 motor in it. It used to really need an overdrive in it but now that it has 35" tires it runs awesome and moves right down the road.

NIce work. Roll or Spray liner? If you got some pics of the interior that would be great. I am working on a project and am weighing the pros/cons of stripping the floor down and lining it. Nice camo work.

Rudd, I helped a buddy to a role, it was simple as heck and turned out great. We doubled up the thickness in a few areas that we thought would take the most damage. Anyhow, it is a simple project and saves a tone of money.

HCH sorry to add this in your thread. By the way the Elk Machine looks sweet, now we just need a few picks of a 350" bull in that thing.

Thanks for all of the compliments guys!!! Here are some more pics for you. Since these were taken I have also treated the entire undercarriage with a spray on rubberized undercoating that gave the entire undercarriage a nice clean look while protecting it also from moisture.

Looks good. Want to spray the bed of my truck for me?
Better find a way to protect those speakes from moisture as well.

Here is how I keep it dry for now. Once I get a roll bar installed I will probably get a soft top of some kind installed.
