It was a joke. If you haven't seen the play it was a hard physical block but perfectly legal. I took a few of those in high school and college. The kicker is fine, he said that it was a heck of a hit but he got up.

You haven't shot one yet? I'm tagged out in both MN and Iowa. If you need some tips start clicking on threads that explain how to hunt and habitat tips rather than just nonresident tag threads!!

I had to google it after your post. I think the Spartan launched himself, but it is the responsibility of the player to have field awareness.

The "science" as reported by the article is kinda shaky to me but you're welcome for me trying to save the deer herd in Iowa while you are away.

You are tagged out in two states; yet have the nerve to come on an out of state forum and complain about regulations. Which one of your Iowa neighbors shot your deer for you? You boast about taking advantage of the nr loophole for shotgun, and are mystified by negative post against your agenda. Why aren't you out fishing? I have. But, as a resident land owner I can kill three giants. Another perk of living here. And, I don't have to slip through any loopholes to do it. I am probably a little more picky than you. My walls are full.
For those of you worried about trophy bucks, I would argue that you are more likely to lose them to a nonresident gun doe tag than you would be to new crossbow hunters if that method is introduced. Just something to pass along to your representatives if so inclined. There are more than enough hunters willing to shoot does if a landowner has herd management issues. The doe tags are not being used for that purpose.

Hard not to upset with a guy that shoots 3 bucks every year and then tries to con me as the bad guy. Now he wants to limit my tags as a landowner even more.
