Great photos and thanks for sharing them. Maybe I should start carrying a camera in my truck - to ward off collisions. I clipped a very large racked deer last night, just a 1/2 mile from the city limits. I thought it was a bad hit, and the buck would be dead in the ditch. Turns out he only hit my bumper (no dents), my passenger headlight (cracked on the side), and the top of my quarter panel where it meets the hood (2" paint chip - from the antler, maybe?). The deer never went down, and made it back across the cornfield he had just come from.
