Dose anyone know when Iowa draws for NR tags?

They will draw sometime in July.

It is usually during the third week of July. Then if successful you get your tags in early August.

Not that I do this every day but at some point, just before the official results are posted you can log in as if you're buying a license. If your points are gone you drew, if you have another point you didn't draw.

An archery tag + Skip's food plots and I should have some opportunities this fall!!

I had two friends draw for late muzzy tags for zone 5. Two other friends were unsuccessful with 3pts for zone 5/archery

Friend drew zone 5 archery with 2 points. It took me 3 points to draw zone 5 archery last season...

It's not. It is a straight up points system, someone is mistaken.

No mistake here. I've been applying since 2000. I drew in 2003. Drew in 2005 with 1 point, 2008 with 2 points, and 2012 with 3 points. All zone 5 and all archery. One of my hunting buddies drew last year with 2 points and another drew this year with 2 points. Both guys zone 5 and both archery. They both hunt my lease...
