I thought McCain asked for it to be delayed?...due to the 750-billion dollar economic deal.

Doesn't much matter if McCain has another week, month or year to prepare he's going to have a hard time with the smoothe talker. Smoothe talking might come across nice in adds and in a televised debate, but I'm not conviced smoothe talking will change the current status of our troubles.

I sure hope it's delayed a week then I'll be able to be in a treestand and not have to worry about it either.

The democrats are going to do everything they can to keep this economic upheaval going until election day. They'll stall this bailout as long as they can.

I want to see Sarah debate Joe Biden!

How about slick Willey Clinton throwing Obama under the bus today saying that the republicans tried to tighten regulations on Fannie and Freddy but the democrates blocked it back when he was president.

He also said that the notion of Mccain trying to buy more time before the dabate is false, saying that Mccain wanted more debates but the messiah would not agree.

Ya just can't make this stuff up /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

I'm not saying that I am a fan of Biden or Obama, but I really think that Palin would have her hands full with Biden. From some of the interviews I've seen with her, I've been disappointed.

In all her interviews she has been punching herself in the face, hard!.....Just cause she kills $hit don't mean she's good for the people in every way.

Just 10 days ago it was: "the fundamentals of our economy are strong". Now it's "we're in an economic crisis"? Just 3 weeks ago he was a "deregulator", and now he's for regulation?

Americans can't wait for McCain to suspend his failing campaign in order to enroll in Economics 101. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. He's been in Washington 26 years and he still hasn't learned anything about the economy except how to deregulate Wallstreet into the bottomless pit of corruption it has become.

Galloping off to Washington is nothing but a gimmick to grab more headlines. The bailout legislation is all but complete and the bipartisan support needed to pass the bill is already assembled. He has nothing to do whatsoever with the Banking Committee, in fact he hadn't even spoken with the chairman of said committee before he decided to suspend his campaign, whereas Barack HUSSEIN Osama (there, I capitalized his middle name and changed the "b" to an "s" in his last so you would know who I was talking about /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif ) has talked with Sen. Dodd (chmn. Senate Banking Committee) a dozen times on the phone about the bailout legislation over the past week... that's because Osama can walk and chew gum at the same time. Since he's the messiah he can also eat bullets and chit ice cream (ok, I made that last part up).

I have to agree with that. As much as I like Palin and dislike Biden, it would be like the Green Bay Packers going up against the Dallas Cowboys............

Debate is not quite the word I would use in that sentence.

If Osama Obama wants to win, he better drop biden and bring in Hilary... can you say B.tch fight /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I don't disagree with your statements about President Bush, and I am not a big fan of Senator McCain, but.....

Mark Twain is quoted as saying... "He who does not read the newspaper is uninformed, and He who reads it is misinformed"

My friend if you are seriously backing Barack Obama... you are misinformed. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

I don't believe he's any more misinformed than people thinking we will lose our right to bear arms if we don't vote for McCain. That would be political suicide if someone pushed that, but people are still uneducated enough to think that will happen. I can't wait till these elections are over.

Avid,
It has been known who you are voting for and likewise whom I am voting for.
Please tell me what Obama has to offer that would sway my vote?
I keep hearing about change by both canidates but how they will do it noone says.
I am interested and will listen but keep it clean.
