Please go to the DNR feedback link and leave your comments on DNR website if you oppose the following changes:

1) Dramatically increasing availability of early muzzle loading season doe tags (because the quality of the early MZ season is in jeapardy)

2) Changing the date to purchase doe tags for November gun season. (because this negates the purpose of the experimental season to offer leftover tags)

I object to the following rule changes.
1) Allowing unrestricted doe tags in early ML season. Keep current restrictions and preserve the quality of the early MZ season.

2) Allowing doe tags for Nov season to be purchased Aug. 15th. Leave purchase date at November 12th and maintain the intent and integrity of the experimental season which was to purchase left over tags.

Also make sure to attend the NRCS Meeting in April as all final rule changes will be adopted in June. The DNR & NRC need to know how you feel.

Thanks for bringing attention to this. I posted the same information on Wednesday (see My post) but it didn't draw the same interest.

Also, it's the DNR that set up the site to offer comments ... not that Limb isn't Web saavy, but I don't think he has access to the DNR's server.

I added my comments. Come one people . . it's easy to do, and it can and will make a positive difference for Iowa deer hunting.
 
Has anyone else had trouble sending comments to the DNR site? I have tried several times to paste my ealier comments and keep getting a message that there is an error with the code. This even happens when I just try to write a new message. What am I doing wrong?

Yes I had problems at first also...you can't use "don't" use "do not" for instance...guess it doesn't like apostrophe's
