Quick story; I live an hour away from my trail cameras no big deal could be worse. I absolutely love to run trail cameras this time of year because you get to find out what made through the winter and anything new that pops up to get excited about for the upcoming season. Well I have a new piece of property to hunt this year and it never closed until the last couple of weeks so scouting has been minimal. I have pulled two cards from the new ground with lots of sucess at getting some pretty good quality deer. I am always looking for an excuse to make it back that direction to check my cams so I found one today. I pull up, walk to once was a heaping pile of apples and see a select few left and tons of tracks. I look right and it had to happen to me. Some no good peice of garbage swiped the Vman clean off my damn tree. So I cus moan cus some more and head out with complete dissapointmnet. Hopefully my other spots produce something to boosts my spirits. I know this has happend to others on here but man it sucks. I guess the only good thing about it was that it was Droptine37's cam and not my own. Sorry for rambling I just had to vent.
 
Lost a cuddeback two years ago and they left two slugs under it during October to prove a point. I was upset but what can you do?All I can say is some people have bigger problems than us. We can buy new cameras, they have to live with that...what goes around comes around. Don't let it get ya down!
 
Sorry to hear about your luck BB. I had the same thing happen to me last year and it sure gets the blood boiling. Don't let them get to you though, and hopefully you will catch the low-life.
 
They better hope Sean doesn't find out it was them that stole the cam....

Nothing worse than a thief!!!
 
I always hate to hear stories like this but every year it's cams or stands or busted gates...

Stinks /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif I thought about putting up a cheapo 35 mm one as a decoy and putting up the good one to see who takes the decoy /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I just started using trail cams this year and that's what I did! Although my area doesn't have any problems with trespassers, just in case it does...they're in trouble!!!!

I feel your pain, we had five stands stolen this year already, all off of the same farm. We are 90% sure we know who did it, but no way of proving it. It pisses me off these guys Literally have access to more land than anyone else in the whole state and they steal from us because the 18,000 (real numbers) or so acres there grandpa owns still isnt enough for them to hunt on. I dont even want to talk to them....their grandpa is great, but the rest of them are bad news.

How great would it be if you were hiding behind the tree when the thief tried to steal the camera and you land a right hook right in his teeth..

I mean knock the living chit out of the guy with one punch....

And then when he is laying on the ground trying to remember his name and what the heck is going on say "Smile, your on candid camera beatch"!!!!!


I hate thieves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
i feel your pain, lost two at the same time a few years back.....

theives are lazy people that dont deserve the shirt on their back....
