Going up there for a few days in July and staying on Roy Lake. Wound up hiring a guide for a day. He said the biggest daily decision isn’t to fish where the fish are biting but where to fish depending on the winds. Guess there aren’t many calm days up there. He said most all the lakes are full of fish!

A good walleye lake with a nice mix of other fish is Waubay. We’ve always had good luck there .

Just got back from 5 days in Webster Sd. The fishing was good…4 of us limited out everyday but one on walleyes.
There’s so many lakes in the area, it’s easier than it should be to find a bite. Waubay, Bitter, Lynn, Middle Lynn, Optiz, Pickerel, Cattail/kettle, and stink have all been good to us throughout the years at different times.

Did you try Cattail/Kettle ? We used to hammer the walleyes on that lake !
