Should've taken those heated socks for a test run yesterday afternoon.
My thermometer said it was 11 degrees inside my blind when I got in at 3pm. I left at 5:30 and I don't think I could've sat in a tree stand yesterday for that long. I can see pretty good out of mine, it's only 4' square on the inside and with a swivel chair, I can see out the 2' x 2' windows that are in all 4 sides pretty well. Did see a doe being chased by a 8 point that grunting pretty good.
Guy in my brother's blind shot a 9 point and saw several more younger deer. Around 5, I have fifteen doe come out to graze in the hay field and could see a few more deer in timber, just couldn't tell what they were. Oh ya, it only took 25 minutes for the temp to reach 60 degrees inside the blind.
