Storage ideas?

I was talking to a guy today at work about what he stores his clothes in and what he uses. I personally put my clothes in a plastic bag with about three of the HS wafers and use it over the entire year. He uses cedar limbs. Curious what others use and if you think storing with scent is better than say a neutral odor or if it can be counter productive. The "fresh earth"wafers are strong but seem to work pretty well.

This time of year I "store" them outside in a "big ole" oak tree...

When the weather is bad or the rest of the year I built a "hunting closet" which I am in the process of putting in cedar lining...

Everything is kept away from scents and orders that I don't want

I can find everything by using clear storage containers on adjustable shelves

My bow and clothes are all kept away from garage and household orders

The cedar smell is better then the "musty" smell that seems to come with packing them away for the year...but nothing beats hanging them outdoors in a tree as much as possible...... /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I keep all of my clothing and supplies in a large ziplock garment bag from Cabelas along with 3 earth scented wafers. I then keep all these in a large storage container as well.

I store my hunting gear in my kitchen and my boots in with my used motor oil (I recycle /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif). I shoot my 300 weatherby mag. most days, nothing under 500yds.

I use a tote which stays in the back of my truck. Not the best option but the best for me.
Oh yah, I throw some cedar and oak mulch/chips/chunks in the tote.

I'm with Doubltree, this time of year my clothes stay outside on the line as much as possible. I've got a mini clothes line in between deck posts that works well. Picture is a bit dark...

Off to the side of my man cave I've got my own closet. Not cedar lined like above but I think I might have a new project come February! My wife tried to sneak some of her scrapbooking stuff in there this summer but it soon found the hallway. We spoke to each other after a few days /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif.....

At my house the official start of the hunting season is signaled by the clothesline rope stretched between the posts on my covered porch. The next cue is the appearance of what i call my "scent elimination cabinet", which is actually a spraypainted upright freezer. after removing the defective compressor and refrigeration coil i now have an airtight storage cabinet complete with interior light and adjustable shelves. Holds almost all my clothes,gloves,hats etc. This past season i even upgraded it with a scentlok decal!!!!! i will try to post a pic but, if anyone wants a photo from my cell i know i can do that!!! I have also /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gifthreatened to get a worn out dorm size frig and make my 10 year old one as well!!
