Well, now that disabled season is over, anyone have any recipes? Last night was a good night, seen deer, but wasn't going to shoot a doe with an hour of light yet. Seen a spike chasing 3 does while grunting, and a nice 8pt that came running in, did a lap in front of me, then back into the corn field on a dead run. Felt like it was rut..
To bad the disabled tag doesn't work like a youth tag. Hunting from a wheelchair is 10x harder than any other hunting IMO, especially early season. Weeds are tall, can't see over them, and short of expensive elevated homemade blinds or mechanical treestands, I'm stuck on the ground only where I can get to.
Course if it was extended, everyone with a sore back will get their doctor to sign off so they can be "disabled"...
