too much rain

I just got a call the two fields below are now under water due to the river coming out. The clover was already sprouting so hopfully it will still grow. The clover was Alsike and is made for river bottoms. It states it can be under water for long periods of time so we will see. I bet the oats will be toast.

That's a bummer Blaster. The water shouldn't last to long. Have the oats sprouted yet?

Ya, Alsike loves wet feet. You should be OK as long as it drains soon.

That's the good news. The river there goes down fast. The water should be gone by tomorrow.

Hard to imagine having too much rain in August...
