Trail cam recommendations

Hi all. Looking for a little input on trail cameras from some of you. I am looking to purchase another camera this year. I already have a cuddeback and love it but i dont really want to throw down that much again for a camera. Is there a decent camera I can get for 100-150$. I was looking at the moultrie game spy 4.0 for $100 and it seems nice. Anyone have any experience with this camera or any other recommendations? thanks

I have used Moultrie and they work pretty good just have to realize that you will have to set the camera up farther from the trail or put something on it to get the deer to stop for the slow trigger speed. I prefer Stealth Cams because they have better flash and even though you have to set up a little farther you have plenty of flash for the picture. All the trail cameras work just depends on how you set it up and that you need to understand it will take some time to figure out which set up works the best for you. Good Luck!!!

As noted it takes decent pics over feed or mineral or facing straight up a trail (very slow trigger time)

Mine never has worked right and needs to be sent back...it will only work for a few hours and then says "low battery"

Even when it does work it's hard on batteries so your better off with rechargable ones.

I agree...Stealth for me with low price and quick trigger speed. WD2 for me online is around 140$...

be careful...it's addictive!!

Thanks for the help guys. i think i am going to go with the moultrie. now i just have to squeeze in time for a trip to cabelas, which never seems to be a problem. I will post some pics as soon as i get it out. Thanks again.

If you live near Council Bluffs Bass Pro Shops is selling there Moultrie cameras for around $79 they are on sale and if you look at Walmart they are some where around 100. good luck.
