Had an encounter last night, the doe in the first picture was with another. They came in to my north which I didn't take a picture of. Along with them was a 160-170" bruiser. G2's were all of a foot or longer. He worked a tree over at 28 yards but wouldn't step out from behind some brush. No shot opportunity. He then vanished for 20 minutes while the two does worked around the tree I was in. I thought for sure he'd come in and stick with the does. Nope, he popped out of the brush at about 80 yards and milled around. Tried to get his attention with the can and one grunt, but he had other things to do. Maybe next time!

Haven't seen a single deer so far this morning. In a spot where I had a big one close two days ago. I'm just hoping he swings by again.
