I have friends (WITH very good hunting LAND) in Iowa that would like me to hunt with them yearly, but Im not the type to buy a doe tag and come down and kill a buck and have a local tag it, (Happens all the time).
Your State is messed up on givin doe tags to NR's and still allowing "Party hunting"
</div></div>
I wonder how excited your friends would be about you coming down to hunt their land when an outfitter was offering them $60.00+ per acre to lease their ground or a NR was offering them $5000+ per acre to buy their "very good hunting land"?
I have heard of family members that were kicked off the family farms for a lot less money let alone a friend that lives in a different State. So I'd be careful what you wish/hope for.
On your second point I couldn't agree more! </div></div>
It will all come to an end someday, deer hunting is and will never be like it used to.
It's a rich mans game now, us old school hunters that used to hunt where ever with a hand shake, are screwed.
