I'm heading to Iowa the middle of next week and hunt through the following week. Looking at the 10 day forecast on Weather.com, I don't think I could have scripted it any better. Highs in the 40's and lows in the low 30's to upper 20's. Now, granted, this could all change and most likely will by the time I get there, but what are your opinions on deer movement for that time with these temps? Thanks.

They pretty much go into hibernation

J/t of course...hard to say about the weather, but you sure oughta see some deer movement.

I think it will be awesome if the weather pattern holds. It has been far to many years in row now with "hot weather hunting". This will be a welcome change and if you beleive Alsheimers moon charting it could be a phenominal Late Oct - early Nov. The time is upon us.

Just caught the weather tonight, calling for rain/snow mix with wind. Being from the south you do realize how much fun it is hanging in a tree stand with a little rain/snow mix being driving by a 20 mile an hour wind hitting you in the face can be??
