i'm on vacation nov 8th through the 18th my uncle said that the bucks will be tied down with does then do you think it will still be good? i usually take the first week of november but couldn't this year.

I'd say that is an awesome time to hunt. There might be bucks locked down for some of that time, but no way you will have bad hunting for 10 days. Sounds like you have some great sits ahead of you! Go get 'em /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

Me my brother and a friend of mine have taken our biggest bucks on Nov 16,17 and my brother shot his two best on the 18th.
Should still be moving.

nov. 12th is supposed to be the hottest day. i took off around the same time frame.7th thru 17th

I think it will be awesome...at least I'm hoping so cause I'll be out there also.

The full moon coincides with the peak breeding time so movement will go towards mid-day by the 13th. That means stay all day or at least morning thru early afternoon.

If you hunt only mornings and evenings you might be dissapointed.

Your Uncle is right to some extent, bucks do get tied down with a doe but...when she's bred they will be on a rampage to find the next one.

You may see less movement then the first week but what you see should be mature bucks. Go early...stay late and be ready, when he comes by he'll be "carrying the mail"... /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
