what do you wear?

A fella can never go wrong with 'Bonkerflauge. BUT if you are a conformist I think a ghuile(sp) suit is the way to go.

Just worry about the wind....way more important then any certain camo IMO. Unless I get caught moving, never had a deer spook from looking at me, no matter what I was wearing in a tree stand. On the ground it's a lot more important of course.
I've found over the years that the "frenzy" to have the latest new version of camo is just not worth it.

Any camo works for me, I don't think camo really matters at all. More stand placement as far as cover, and not moving is the key if you would ask me. You could go out there in blue jeans with your bow and shoot deer, I've seen it done

I think that is the biggest key, but will say a good camo will make a difference at times.

If I had to pick one camo only it would be the old skyline apparition. Wish they still made it.

I guess I'd have to agree with those who are on the side of worrying about stand placement and such rather than camo design or color. Not to mention it would be far too expensive to switch everything over to something different. ha, ha

I would also agree that camo is not the most important factor, but believe it all matters. When I switched to predator fall grey, mamma quit looking up as often or as long. I am a little fidgety in the tree and need all the help I can get.

I'm going to sound like a real amateur or a dork here.

I've got a real mixed back of stuff, all of it cheap as hell

. I've got some mossy oak stuff and a bunch or realtree stuff. I basically throw on whatever the weather dictates, if it is warm then I wear my long sleeve tees from mossy oak, if it is cool then I layer on my realree stuff. If it gets real chilly I'm back to mossy oak with the coat. As long as I'm wearing my lucky realtree wetlands pants on stand I'm confident.

Camo is a "must" for me but not as important as wind.

I'd be wetting my pants seeing those Sask hogs, too!

sorry this is a little off topic but has any one used that camo restore stuff. I can't remember the exact name of it but it is supposed to restore the camo pattern of old camo by washing it with this stuff. Does it work????

I am a Mossy Oak Break Up fan
