Gundog, The salt and mineral that we put out each year are taken away before the season starts...Also the stand is about 85 yards or so from the salt and we only archery hunt in that area. so you couldnt shoot it if you wanted to even if there was a trace of mineral or salt left in the ground.

I thought you could hunt out past 50 yards from bait. I dont use salt block anyway but I thought that was the law.
