What to broadcast???

I have a turnip plot that got seeded a little on the lighter side and has quite a few gaps in it. I'm looking for ideas on what I can broadcast on top of the soil in late August. Hopefully something that will grow easy and quickly. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Winter rye for sure, but gh forage radish and\or clover would be great to add also. The radishes mature much faster than turnips and will catch up quick. If you get a good rain they should take off just laying on top.

Product we use on all our farms is Bens Trophy buck mix..their fall blend "Ruttin Oats" is some awesome stuff, they also have Sweet treats its a spring/ summer blend. But you can order the rutting oats and broadcast it and grows great. We put some in the ground this past week. They also make some mineral that comes in a 25lb bag and honestly is by far the best ive EVER put out. Has everything you need to get the right stuff to get maximum antler growth out of your bucks. PM me if you'd like to know more
