What to do in this cold.

The deer have been feeding all afternoon for the last three days. The majority come to the fields around 4:00 pm. The problem for me now is that the winds are constantly from the north, and the field can't be aproached from the south. Last week with the south winds i could easily get within 100 yds of most of the deer.

layer up...and go out there. Not going to kill big buck sitting in the warm house.

Things definitely have to be just right this time of year.

The only spot I have that's a good setup for a bowhunt is a N wind pattern. Hate to say, but we're wishin against each other.:grin:

At dark last night it was -10 and falling hard. I was toasty warm in my fish house Yea MN season has been closed for 5days.

I'll be out Friday AM with my bow & PM with my muzzy. High is suppose to be 0. I'll be out in all my wools and heater body suit. Hope I can last a few hours.
