I walked into the woods at 4:30pm. I sat in my stand and started calling at about 5:15 at about 5:25 I saw movement just up the ridge. I couldnt see what it was but i could tell it was a buck because he was tearing up a scrape. so I hit the grunt call once more. he came in at 12yds broadside on another scrape. I smacked him right in the heart he ran 25yds and died in sight. what a relief to not have to track him down. I scored him at 163 7/8.

Awesome buck!! But me being a taxidermist, I just cringe when I see the cape cut up the brisket like that......lol Be proud that's a great buck!!
