Do you still have the lease in zone 5?
Hi, Saw your message about the .300 WinMag ammo.....69 rounds for $50....I'm interested if you'll cover shipping to Drakesville. Please advise.
Congrats on a great buck. Without giving your hunting spot away to a total stranger I was wondering if this buck possibly came from Davis county little east of Bloomfield? The reason I ask is me and a buddy hunted a buck this season that favors your buck. I never saw him but my buddy had 2 encounters during bow season with the buck. We never had any trailcam pics to compare to your buck. I showed him your harvest pics and he can't determine if it's him or not. Like I said I'm not trying to get into your business just trying to figure out if it's the same buck so we're not chasing a ghost next fall.

Thanks and congrats
things are good ,, waitin to get into some nice drop offs soon. will post some pics when they start rollin in
I think a lot of shotgun party hunters do it right, but the ones I am familiar with often do it wrong, big groups, shooting every buck they see...even bragging about killed 17 bucks...none over 140. It's poor management, and they often let other deer lay after they shoot them. Maybe it's just because I am close to Missouri, and the ethic is different, more hillbilly if you will.
My dad had one in 12. Like others said very accurate but kicked like a mule. He got a limb saver for it that helped. Only thing he didn't like was there is no ejecter on it so u have to pull the used case out.
with the TC Omega, the best primer to use in that set up will be the Winchester W209, they seem to shoot cleaner with these primers. No head space adjustment for the omega is needed. The cva/traditions were made to have loose head space so you could shoot basically almost any 209 primer, we're just tired of the mess is causes and the fact we are destroying the finish on our guns.
Question: You had said...."So keep it SAFE and simple. You use what ever primer you adjusted for PERIOD! If you swap primers, take the time to readjust the headspace for that brand of primer." My question is this "headspace adjustment" only something you do with the CVA Accura? I have a TC Omega and don't know what that is. Thanks for any help.
Blue Tounge - Our party just finished out annual hunt in Allamakee county, south of Harpers Ferry. We did not do well, nor did we see many deer. Also, noticed the shooting was significantly down in the area on Saturday and very little on Sunday. Talked to several other hunting parties in the area they also did not do well. For example one party has hunted the same area for 20 years and 18 hunters harvested 2 does, they usually limit out. They were stopped by the DNR and Sheriff and was asked how the hunting was, the DNR said Blue tongue has effected the area and it showed. Is anyone else having the same issues. We did not see any dead deer - However, a noticeable lower number in deer population. Our usual deer everywhere was not there this year. We hunt private land surrounded by thousands of acres of public land with very little shots bieng heard.
