Just a heads up. Cutting them in spring and summer and they will sprout up from the roots even if you kill the stump with Tordon. Winter is best for killing them dead. Grazon mixed with a surfactant and Remedy with tank on a 4 wheeler will finish off the sprouts. It kill trees up to 8 ft tall...

Yes I've seen fat plug even a slug hole. There should be blood where the deer was standing and the bullet hit. I would check where he was standing or walking during impact . Gut shot deer could go for miles if pushed.

Deer, horses ect can survive long as there is snow cover . Worry when there is no snow and a deep freeze . Cold weather freeze dries the ground and no moisture is available. Seems any thing like a goat is tough.

I think a farm size is 10 acres no less according to the gov.

I do, its happens in bow and other seasons . Shot gun it runs amuck. Pickup loads of deer dumped in ditches its unreal.

Had a deal go bad. Got the out of state police on him from his ex girlfriend . Long story short had him hauled back from Omaha put in our local county jail . His bail matched what he owed me :) I love small town Iowa government.
