My land!! That had to be tedious work! I planted around 3500 tree this spring, I couldn't imagine trying to fence them all off. Guess I'll just have to re-plant the ones they destroy.

I have about 400 trees individually fenced off here. I just use whatever wolven wire fence I can get for free and make a 4'-5' circle out of it, no stakes needed. If your trees are that big your only real concern is rubs, and if you make it inconvient for the bucks they wont bother. Even the 2'...
My guess is that it might be quieter with leeches and no STS. I put a Meanv STS on my Guardian just because I couldnt keep the stock silencers on. I suppose I could have just used cat wiskers (what fun would that be? ). I definately gained speed and the STS killed all the string "twang", but I...

I have looked at the Nikon mount in magazines but not in person. They look pretty sturdy. I dont think they have the wing nut on the bottom? I think thats where the trouble comes from.
I can get a smaller scope reasonably tight, but a heavier longer scope adds alot of leverage to the mount and...
I have a window mount made by Simmons which has a standard 1/4" screw and a wing nut that is supposed to secure the scope to the mount. I've had a couple of these types and can never seem to get them good and tight to the scope, but when I mount the scope on a decent tripod everything gets rock...

I think 90% of my false triggers in the daytime are actually caused by birds. Sometimes you can spot one sitting in the background or drinking from a puddle in the salt lick and they are really bad over corn.
The new SSS boards alow different delay settings for day vs night. Since I rarely get...

I've done my fair share of Guardians and one doing 320 at 30" with a IBO arrow (350gr) is fast. Remove the hush kit from the string is about 5fps and the CSS or STS are not known for increasing speed but I have seen 1-2 fps.
400gr w/peep in string getting that kind of speed I would...
I wouldnt say a stainless ML won't rust, because I have owned several that prove they will. But, they dont rust nearly as easily as the blued ones do, you can almost hear them rusting. Also, I had more rust problems with Pyrodex than with Triple 7. Maybe its just me.

You gain speed because the arrow is actually released sooner from the string then if the stopper wasnt there.
If you look at a string shot without a CSS or etc... the string actually goes past cent and the arrow doesnt release till the string starts to come back.
The CSS just allows...
