Is there data that proves CWD is spread through mineral stations or feeding? Guess I figured it had a lot more to do with a deer riding on a trailer from Colorado to Wisconsin than anything I put on the ground.

Benchmade Rukus. Pretty pricey but the steel is unreal. Had it for 2+ seasons and close to a dozen deer. I'll let you know when it needs sharpened.

Have had more than once where doe was blowing and couldn't figure out what I did wrong until I saw the coyote trot on through. More often thought the problem is me!

Read Bowman's blog on this site. He gives instructions in his piece on hunting with kids. I think I am going to try picking up some rope at Lowes and give it a try. I bought the one from HSS and think making your own should be pretty easy.

Have had some experience with Leaf River myself and white outs happen with one of my older cameras too. Send them an email or call and they can usually walk you through troubleshooting or will have you send it in for repairs.

Will this come back volunteer next year? My landowner wouldn't smile upon something that would keep showing up in his fields for years.....

Pretty sure that at one point Leaf River had a warning on their website not to use a specific brand of card. Seems some cards work with everything and others are quite a bit more touchy.
