I am in an area that we havent "assumed" we have had EHD, but numbers are for sure down- and I didnt hunt last year. I know coyotes are thicker, but we have a ton of night hunters in the area anymore. Not sure if they are truly coyote hunting or shooting deer- you can only hope they are honest...

Coyotes are high on my list to trap- feel like I never have time to do it right and dont have anyone real close around me that traps em to learn either.
Yup- I’ve shot a deer many years ago that had an arrow stuck in his eye socket. I found out later he was shot second week in October and I shot him first gun season. The whole deer was rank from infection. It happens
Yeah I wouldn’t do pheasants forever- they have to pay for their seed. The county conservations don’t (at least not the 2 counties I work with up here)
