    Iowa Trespassing laws

Actually- the neighbor gave my buddy permission to hunt on his- so the tower blind is a moot point in the scheme of things. Was a bit more of a joke picture, but they don’t have permission to shoot onto his. If that makes any sense. Also the way the property lays- the only shooting from that...

    Iowa Trespassing laws

I’m amazed people still do trespass with cell cameras- but the old saying is still true- you’re only going to keep honest people honest.

    IOWA DNR STATE Forest Nursery

I’ve had great service and phenomenal trees compared to a few other places. I just quick glanced at Yellow River and it says pick up- do they ship? (I just did a very quick glance)

    Wild Art Taxidermy

Last time I’ve heard of this happening I know the State Patrol and DNR got involved. Honestly wouldn’t be bad to call the DNR and run it past them

    Deer #’s down statewide???

I am in an area that we havent "assumed" we have had EHD, but numbers are for sure down- and I didnt hunt last year. I know coyotes are thicker, but we have a ton of night hunters in the area anymore. Not sure if they are truly coyote hunting or shooting deer- you can only hope they are honest...

    Crossbow broadheads different?

First of all- Happy Thanksgiving all. My question- are “crossbow” broadheads different than a regular broadhead? My FIL shoots a crossbow and vertical bow (don’t get me started) but he uses the same broadheads and doesn’t want to do anything different (his crossbow shots have been a lot less...

    Diseased Buck Help!

Yup- I’ve shot a deer many years ago that had an arrow stuck in his eye socket. I found out later he was shot second week in October and I shot him first gun season. The whole deer was rank from infection. It happens

    Pioneer Seed

Yeah I wouldn’t do pheasants forever- they have to pay for their seed. The county conservations don’t (at least not the 2 counties I work with up here)
