That is one of the greatest bucks I've ever seen. Double split brow tines!!! Congratulations are in order. Did you have him patterned from a trail cam or glassing, or were you supprised to see such a specimen heading toward your stand? Thanks again OneCam. That sure gives the rest of us...
Oh my Lord!!! That thing is Nasty. That buck has to 8.5 years old, all grey and skanky. Great photo. Too bad you sold your cam, it must be a lucky one!
I used a 3d target last year and it worked fine. I would leave it outside for a few days and give it a good covering of scent killer. They are a bit tough to carry through the woods, but work fine once you get it set up. Good luck and let me know how it works out. I shot a 140 ten pointer last...
Onecam, I have one question. Can you win your own big buck contest? This may be a test of ethics. I can't wait to see the buck, what part of the state did you get him in?
I hung a stand just off this trail on Sunday and cut some shooting lanes. This was before I had developed the film. I'm calling him the Notch buck, if you look at his right ear it has a big notch cut into it!
This guy was also on my trail cam that I picked up today. Judging from the racoon photo in the same spot, this cat is about 35 pounds. He looks pretty large to me. What's the law on letting the air out of him if he walks under my stand?
I picked up my trail cam yesterday. It had been out for 11 days. All 26 pics were taken the first 24 hours it was out and it appears to be all different deer. Six bucks in the same spot and a huge Bobcat also. Check out the body size on this beast! What a hog! Can you say trailcam contest...
Very nice buck, anyone that wears a white Ralph Lauren Polo for his big buck photo deserves it. He didn't were that in the stand did he? That would make some kind of sponsorship!
Last year was the first year that I used a decoy and I loved it. I was using a doe decoy during Nov. 7-12 and scored on a nice 140inch 10 pointer. I was wondering if any of you are decoy veterans and have some advice. When and where do you think decoying works best? When do you use a buck or doe...
I'm having a problem with my Deer Cam DC100. I have had it out in 2 spots this pre-season. Both times I have a lot of blank photos. The role I developed this morning had 24 photos on it 16 of them were blank- just the trail, no deer. The empty photos were from different times of day and night...
That buck looks like an identical twin to the buck I shot 3 years ago on Halloween night. Sweet photo. I'm picking up my cam tomorrow off of a hot trail.
Now that is a happy hunter. I have a photo from 14 years ago that looks very similar, only your buck is bigger. That's great buddy, keep up the good work.
