    What the heck is this?

That's kind of what I thought but I wasn't sure with how high the back doe's head is. I also wasn't sure on the front animal with how big its tail and rump looked.

Question about my 4th season bird

I was fortunate enough to call in a tom yesterday morning and manged to close the deal. He came in from over 300 yards across a bean field, really put on a show over the course of 30 minutes. After I shot him at 25 yards I went and checked his beard, it was just over 10 inches and I guessed him...

Thanks a Bunch Doob! Late Muzzy Hunt

Fellow IowaWhitetail member Doob and his brother were nice enough to invite me and a buddy from Boone to a late season muzzy hunt this weekend. We had a blast and killed some nice deer! My buck came out on a drive on Sunday at 150 yards on the run and I missed him. Monday we did the same...

    A Few Spring Pictures

I spent the last 2 weekends turkey hunting. 2 Weeks ago went out to South Dakota and shot a jake in some of the worst hunting conditions possible. He came into the decoys during a blizzard, got 6 inches where I was at, so I decided to take him. Fast forward to this past weekend and I took a...

Pretty Boy: To use or not to use...

I use the b-miobile. So far it has worked great. I used the plastic molding to make my own tail and accidentilly broke off one of the four sections of the tail so it is only a 3/4 tail. This weekend I had 4 jakes, 1 tom and 13 hens all come into my spread which included the b-mobile and 2 hens.

Almost as fun as deer hunting

I use a 25.06. Its a little big for coyotes but living in IA it is tough to justify buying more than one rifle so I picked it so I could use it for antelope, mule deer, and whitetails when I go to Canada.

    Fun Wyoming Trip

We hunted near Moorcroft, Wyoming. NE portion. It was a blast, found a rancher that was very friendly. Only charged us $150 to hunt her ground. We also spent a few nights in Deadwood playing a little Texas hold'em.

    Thanksgiving Story

My Dad got a call last Tuesday from a friend of his that guides deer hunts in Canada. He had 2 cancellations so we decided to go. I left Thanksgiving morning at 8AM (I was supposed to be having dinner at my in-laws) and headed north. We ran into a bad blizzard in Canada and didn't arrive...

Quite a trip, now with pictures

Went out to South Dakota with my brother-in-law a couple weekends ago. Shot my first Miriam, stepped on a 3 foot rattle snake, found a shed and found 4 nice dead bucks. They have been batteling blue tongue disease. It was a great time.

    Computer question

That's strange, I just got satellite high speed and am having the same problem. My surfing speed is 1.5 MB and all websites load very quickly except this one. Could there be a problem with the website?
