I like the big log on the pallet forks of the skid steer! & the black locust on the disc for weight! U getting things done no matter what u gotta deal with. Farm gonna be transformed fast. Ambition, hard work & Awesome pics!

Couple updates... somehow broke endcap on the disc gang when working some ground before the rain last week. Crap cast iron. Part ordered...

Got some cleanup done and much needed shelving built in the barn. Lights/electrical wiring finally finished

Update on disc repair, couldnt find cheater bar at the salvage yard big enough to fit over the open end of the wrench. Didnt feel right but had to do it. Part should be here tomorrow.

Got disc fixed and checked plots, gonna be dry enough to spread fertilzer on 5 acres of corn ground

Had a little skip there with sprayer ^^^

Added beer/water fridge to the barn and enjoyed another good sunset

Good buddy Eric smashed the first gobbler on the new farm Saturday.

Sprayed 15 acres of new switchgrass i drilled in March

Also worked corn plots and tried my hand at planting about 500 miscanthus rhizomes to screen the barn.

Modified the cultipacker to get some more weight. Had some leftover barn scraps and an old spray tank

Productive weekend

Good buddy Eric smashed the first gobbler on the new farm Saturday.

Sprayed 15 acres of new switchgrass i drilled in March

Also worked corn plots and tried my hand at planting about 500 miscanthus rhizomes to screen the barn.

Modified the cultipacker to get some more weight. Had some leftover barn scraps and an old spray tank

Productive weekend

Listened to birds this morning before work, moved the blind in the flydown party zone to slip into tomorrow with the wife.
Hopefully we will get one in our lap.

Got a lot done Sunday in a short amount of time. 4.5 acres of corn in the ground and 3-4 acres of beans. Freshened a couple mineral sites too. Had a good helper.

I havent done a great job keeping up on this past 10 days or so, and havent taken many pics.
Planted some miscanthus to screen my barn from road/dust/foodplots etc.
Sprayed 4-5 acres of corn acres, gly, anthem, atrizine coctail.

Ran out to the farm after work and sprayed 4 more acres to drill beans in a couple weeks. Had some extra seed so figured why not. Kiddo found some wiggly worms

Corn and soybeans popping @ the farm. Getting nice shower on plot today

Got a couple hundrew more miscanthus plugs in the ground before the rain. Screening barn from road, should have that finished this week and then drilling a few more beans when it dries up.
