More poaching

Seems like it never ends... thrill killing just for something to do...

Had my "Sunday shoes" on...so didn't venture too far into the wet hay Sunday morning.

The buzzards were already busy on it which is why we noticed it. CO says it's getting to be a real problem (kids killing them just for kicks).

Just what we need...more poaching problems..

What a Shame!

We have poaching going on in my area also this year. I have seen several dead deer this fall already.

Last year they caught some younger guys poaching, but the penalties aren't stiff enough IMO.

Seems like crimes against nature never cease. It will be that way as long as the repercussions are so slim.

I hate to say it, the hunting future in so many midwest states is looking dim as it is, but as access gets more and more restricted it's going to get MUCH worse.

Lost a farm last year due to some jackasses cutting fences and the cattle getting out!

This same farm I shot a nice buck on a couple of years back,and while skinning found a small caliber round inbedded in the shoulder.

Well put. I dealt with some serious poaching around my area for about 5 years. The larger bucks were thinned to nothing, and I fear saying it, but they're starting to come back. In another year or two it could be back to normal, or there could be another outbreak of punk-a$$-poachers. Time will tell.

You hardly ever hear about people getting caught. Very frustrating.

Why would you want a deer that you would have to keep hidden so no one knew that you had it.

A couple years ago, kids around here were doing it for fun. Not a lot of fun when they got caught.

I knew a few farmers that used to shoot quite a few and just leave them to rot.

It only took a few phone calls to change that.
