I'm sure some people will do that, but I feel like MOST people are not going to blatantly start poaching deer. Most will follow the rules. How are they eliminating it?? What’s the plan. I get it but that’s an easy work around. NR hunting does. Resident with multiple tags uses one on the buck the NR shoots just like now. It’s nearly unenforceable. They would have to ban NR doe hunting like they eliminated the nrlo archery doe tag years ago, that’s not happening.
Is it even a bill ? I can’t see this being passed ?If this were to happen, could it be a ploy to increase pressure for more non-resident tags (especially for landowners)? Perhaps not, but this could create a united front and more demand for more tags that ultimately leads to more funding and pressure to change?
It's already done from what I heard. Not a bill.Is it even a bill ? I can’t see this being passed ?
I'm all for this change but I hope items like crossbows, more outfitters, more NR hunter tags, etc don't go thru unknown like this one. It's already done from what I heard. Not a bill.
So you think all those peeps are going to become poachers and shoot bucks anyway? This is fluff. NRs who party hunt know a resident(s) who they hunt with. They’re not party hunting with outfitters. If a NR can buy a doe tag very little will change. I know I’m being redundant but I see no teeth.
Were you involved in pushing this ?It's already done from what I heard. Not a bill.
No. Don't shoot the messenger. Were you involved in pushing this ?
The push for NR landowner tags will increase. Some guys won’t be able to hunt their own farm for 5 years ?? Rule change-BS !1983. Absolutely. You kidding me. My neighbors son in law hunts every year with his father in law. What’s gonna keep him from buying a doe tag , sitting with dad in law, and shooting a buck?? Really. Dad’s gonna say he shot it. Be real. What needs controlled is all party hunting , not just NRs. Keep in I mind I live in Iowa now. It’s toothless.
Hardwood is right , the rules are the rules. What do you say to Iowans that moved away and come back to hunt with family?? Hunting is supposed to be about friends and family right. Or, is this only about trophy hunting?
