Also...this post has convinced me to start lobbying congress to outlaw all guns, cross bows, and compound bows for hunting. Long bows and recurves are the only ethical way to put in the effort to morally kill a deer. Oh, except this will lead to more wounded ones. Okay, we will only be allowed to hunt over bait piles then to get the one shot perfect ethical shot each time. But wait, that is not ethical either.

Well crap I give up. I'll just join PETE too.

As the OP I believe I can delete this thread and as soon as I finish processing the deer I have cooling in the fridge I'm going to figure out how. Things have taken a pretty pathetic turn here. I can understand a little pissing and moaning about some of the things we see gun hunting but I see plenty of things that make me shake my head during bow season too.
This belly aching and fighting is not what most come here to see and is totally unrelated to the original topic.

Agree! Where are the moderators? A discussion is one thing, arguing in circles is pointless and childish. Someone delete this whole thread. Arguments like this are why we keep getting or A$$ handed to us on ballots and by big money. Seems like we can't organize ourselves out of straight hall with one door.
