Scum of the earth

As I type this I'm still shaking my head in denial and dissapointment in the low lifes that are allowed to breath the same air we do.
My wife was just asking me if I was going to get another turkey tag, and I was considering it. I still had all my hunting gear in the truck.
It's gone now, some low life broke into my truck last night and took my shotgun, knives, backpack, two game cameras, misc. stuff, and worst of all, they took my buckskins! I'm totally devastated. I'd had the elk skin pants for a long time and the coat, I'd wanted one for over 20 years and was finally able to swing it just last year. Now it's gone. And the shotgun, I've had forever. You folks have seen the memories I have with it!
Hopefully my insurance co. won't try to mess with me, but my experience with them isn't the best either.
I had a glimmer of hope after discovering the break in. I've had a game cam facing the driveway for a few weeks just for giggles, maybe I captured a photo of the thieves. I must have. They stole that camera also.
Thanks for listening, I just need to vent.

Jay that is Horrible news!!!
i wish i had somthing to say that would make you feel better but i dont, i know exactly how it feels and nothing fixes it.

Stealing is the lazy mans way and i hope like hell they get what is coming to them.

Sorry to hear about that.....wish there was somthing i could do....

Ouch!! I know how you feel, as I had a couple of guns stolen from my car years ago. Hope you get your things back.

God help the thieves if Jay catches them before the five 0. Man that is crap Jay. I would love it if you got pictures of the cowards.

Jay,

That seriously sucks. Thieves are some of the lowest forms of life know to man. Like Thomas said. There's nothing I can say that will help.

Hope they catch the lowlife's and they get what's coming to them. Lazy Bastards!!!

Jay, I would think the things they stole you could identify pretty easy. I would send pictures to the local pon shops and gun shops. Also keep a eye on e-bay. I hope you catch those dirt bags!!!

i hope the thief is so proud of that coat that he wears it all over town...and jay finds him

sorry, man...that sucks

Thank goodness you have pictures and memories...some things insurance just can't replace.

I'm sorry that some low life would do that to you Jay...I've been robbed before and it is a sickening feeling. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

Jay,

Sorry for your loss of property. My father in law had some guns taken a few years ago that he and his father-in-law had built from components - irreplaceable items. I would agree with Blaster's comments and I seriously hope you catch those bastards.

I had all of my fishing gear stolen from my truck a few years ago, I know this doesn't compare to your loss, but the absolute feeling of viloation is still with me. How can someone, who may claim to be a sportsman, do that to another sportsman?

Locks only keep honest people honset.

I can't th ink of many people that could fill that coat. I don't know where you live or neighborhood but could it be someone fairly close? Someone might have seen something and it always seems like low-lives sort of know where they might find that kind of stuff and had their eye on you.

That's the sad part. It pretty much goes without saying that the skins won't fit anybody else. They will either cut them up for the leather or put them in a dumpster.

I've been thinking about one of these for a year or so. My mind is now made up.

pharmer, All my neighbors I either know and are good people and the others are older retired folks. Not the neighbors for sure.
I get hit an average on once a year, usually nothing or little taken. They hit the jackpot today.

Once a year? You know its cause you ain't got no Cornhauler crap in your yard. Everybody wants to rip off the heretic.

Too bad shotgun traps are illegal.

Jay, If you need some re-made I'd be happy to get the neighbor to make them. I detest only a few in this world....liars and thieves. Take a deep breath if you run into them.
